On the evening of November 29, 2025, the much-anticipated 16th YUANYE Awards Ceremony was grandly held. Expert judges, award-winning teachers and students, and outstanding designers from all walks of life gathered together to witness the infinite integration of creativity and practice.
Winning works of this edition feature close alignment with contemporary themes, profound humanistic care and strong practical orientation.
The newly launched 17th YYAS has ushered in major updates. Eligible participants are extended to product design, resources and environment and other majors. Competition schedules are better arranged in the first and second semesters respectively. Seven categories of themed contests are further optimized, closely focusing on climate resilience, urban renewal, cultural revitalization and digital intelligent innovation, offering broader creative space for participants.
YYAS continues to expand global influence, attracting over 4,000 participants from nearly 600 universities. Apart from top mainland Chinese institutions, world-famous universities including the University of Manchester, the University of Sheffield and RWTH Aachen University, as well as universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have submitted outstanding entries, fully demonstrating its international standing and high-standard competition layout.
