The 2024 Conference of Green, Low-Carbon and High-Quality Urban Development was held in Nanjing from April 12th to 14th. The School of Innovation and Design at City University of Macau, as the organizer, organized a synchronous offline and online sub forum in Macau on April 13th at the Ho Yin Convention Center.

Development and Communities” and delves into sustainable development practices in communities, with a particular emphasis on ecological restoration, natural resources, urban resilience, and resilient planning. These practices are crucial for transforming our urban landscape into sustainable, resilient, and livable spaces.
The Macau sub forum is hosted by Assistant Professor Li Mengshun, with Assistant Professor Li Kerun serving as the guest speaker. Nine guests, including graduate students in urban planning and design, and teachers and students from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, conducted academic exchanges at the sub forum.

This forum provides multilateral mechanisms and Macao SAR experience, and also strengthens exchanges between the two places to promote the development of the “the Belt and Road” initiative. The exchanges at this forum are all about cutting-edge academic discoveries, which will collide with more research topics and provide interdisciplinary and parallel perspectives.
